Small things/features you didn't know about in your 11'
I thought this would be a good topic for everyone to share certain things/features you didn't know about in your Mustang 5.0
For me:
1. Wasn't aware that the space between the cup holder and the lid/armrest was for the cable to the USB port. That way you can close it without slamming the cable.
2. There's a clip for your sunglasses on the visor
That's it so far, please feel free to add more.

I'm not getting the sunglasses clip. If it's what I think your talking about I don't see how to clip glasses in it.
I read somewhere that the "clip on the sun visor" is for parking lot stubs ... slip it in and put down the visor.
There is also a notch in the side of the passenger side of the console opening directly above the 12V plug-in which I'm guessing is to allow a cord out with the lid closed (as we used it last weekend for my wife's phone charger) but could also be used for a cords pluged into the USB or audio input jack.
Got to add these and others mentioned to "my list".

There is a lock for the back seats tucked into the outboard side of the drivers side cushion about halfway up.
parking lamps, interior lights, and dash lights up when you open the door.
the radio and power windows operate for 10 minutes after turning ignition off (as long as you don't open the door).

Here's an obvious one, but more of a gripe:
Why in the hell did the engineers decide to put the radio controls on the steering wheel on the right side?
Counter intuitive. Every car I've had, even my minivans have them on the left side, which makes WAY more sense as you shift and grab a drink and so forth with the right hand.
Anybody in this country (and most) that drive manuals have their left hands on the steering wheel full time and use their right hands to shift and other things, it makes way more sense to have the often used radio controls on the left side and the rarely used cruise control buttons on the right.
Hopefully they'll correct that in future models.
Also for the love of taking a power nap in your car on the side of the road if you feel drowsy, allow the head rests to tilt back.
WTF is up with them tilting forward and not allowing you to tilt them back?

Thanks for the vent.

As for the headrest, with my seat kicked back it is in the right spot for my head for the all important power nap, now if I could get the seat to recline a bit more
Well it seems that no one noticed that the graphic image for traction control (where the skid marks are behind the car) is actually the rear of the 2010 - 2011 cars. Same in the instrumentation cluster. Have a look at start-up. I will see if I can leave the same burn out marks.
This is unique for the mustang and thanks to the designers for the small details. I noticed!!

My car has no clips on the visor. Was this added in 2011? Or maybe the glass roofed cars have different visors?

I have a lock on mine and it's not a vert. I thinks it's just not very noticeable since you have to access it through the cup holder lid.
