SLP Loudmouth installed on 5.0!

Received my SLP Loudmouth axleback muffler deletes and had them installed over the weekend! Wow! What a difference in sound! I finally got the muscle car sound I was looking for.

Cold start is almost brutal when you fire up the Coyote, but will then come to a nice burble and rumble. Now granted, there is some drone with this set-up, especially noticable around 1800-2000 rpm. Otherwise just fine. It really sounds open when you open it up and hit it WOT... then it sounds like a NASCAR gone wild!

Also love the 4" SLP tips, which just fill out the rear valence so nicely! Just awesome!

If I get a chance over the weekend and the weather is nice, I'll shoot some vids, although I can guarantee, that even the best video camera can not capture an accurate sound of any exhaust system. The SLP official video on youtube is pretty accurate however:

Never uploaded a video yet, so I'll have to figure that out as well.

Cool. Glad it worked out.
And yes, +1 on the 4 inch tips. Makes for the best look.

It only took a few days from ordering to delivery... very fast service!!!

I really like the fact that you can adjust the tips to your liking, either further in or out, which is not possible with so many other products. And if you ever should decide that you want different tips, you can simply exchange them for new/different ones... another big plus IMO.

Sweet, best place I've found to really let my car sing with the LM's is an on ramp with a feeder road to the highway. The feeder road is seperated by a big concrete barrier and when I nail it in 1st or 2nd gear and spin it up to 6k the reverberating sound is nothing short of awesome. Definetely worth the effort to find something similar even if its a bit deafening

Cool... where did you get them?

Have you ever heard a 05-09 GT with the SLP Loudmouth exhaust? If so, is it any louder at start up?

I have a set on my 07 with an FRPP X pipe and on a cold start up its very loud but quickly quiets down a LOT once warm and it leans out. Sounds very similar to the 5.0

Thanks... that's very helpful feedback.

My 2009 with the SLP Loudmouth was very border line... if the '11 would be much louder, I'd look elsewhere..

I'm glad to hear that it's similar.

Yeah, cold start is awesome and you can actually FEEL the vibration inside! It gets more reasonable quickly, but if you hit it WOT, the sound is nothing but fantastic! So far, I love them more with every mile I drive. No problems with law enforcment either (at least so far!)

Sorry guys, but I was extremely busy over the last few days, so no video yet, but I'm trying... honestly! LOL
