I use the two handy cargo loops located left center and right center toward the rear of the trunk. I loop the handles of my plastic grocery bags around them and voila, no tornado groceries. If you tie the bags AND hook them in, nothing breaks out unless you're transporting lead bars.

Also handy when securing the hookers.

Just get the re-usable canvas shopping bags and attach the hook side of some velcro to the bottom of the bags, then when you put them in the trunk the bags will adhere to the carpet and not slide around.

Of course that won't keep them from falling over and spilling the groceries but they won't slip and slide...

Or, you could just do like I do and put the bags in the back seat instead of the trunk.

So that is the actual net for '05-11 ?? It looks just like the one for '94-04 that I stole from my '04 ... the pic on the Ford Accessory web site for the '05-11 is taken from the "inside" of the trunk and it looked more like a web type that attached somehow to the rear most plastic trim.

You guys just don't get it do you, don't ever put things in the trunk that might move around when driving your 5.0's, you just never know when you might encounter a rival SS or Chally. Put everything on the floor behind the front seats.

This is what I've always done on 2-door cars, if it fits down there that's where I haul it especially heavy items ... if you need to do some aggressive driving or god forbid you get into an accident, you don't have potential projectiles.

It has 4 separate 10" tall compartments that can be combined if needed, and does a great job of containing general Trunk Junk. It can all be folded flat if needed. There's plenty of room still remaining in the trunk area forward of the organizer (under the top stowage compt/rear shelf area).

It hooks with adjustable elastic loops to the tabs on the forward side of the rear trunk wall.

There's also a matching cooler available that fits into this organizer, but I didn't get it - I use a soft "Playmate" cooler (on sale for $15) that fits the organizer perfectly.

I have been waiting for "someone else" to buy this thing. A little pricy YES, but looks like it might be better than the cargo nets I've been using since '94. Is it pretty solid and well secured ?? Are you still glad you got it rather than another envelope style Cargo Net ??

There is also a SMALLER "-B" version of it too:
"-B" 27.75" W x 14.5" D x 6.75" H
vs.
"-A" 39.00" W x 14.0" D x 10.75" H

Can you take a pic of what it looks like "in your trunk" ??

thanks,

Doug

The canvas bags are very green too. Maybe it'll help make up for all of the gas we burn.

It's not just the Mustang. This has happened in every fun car I've ever owned.

Unfortunately I cannot take any photos of any part of my car since it's STILL in the body shop (WARNING - NO ONE CARRIES ANY PARTS TO THE 2010-2011 MUSTANG ANYWHERE!! At least that can be bought locally & installed in the same day)!!

So I cannot take a photo. The large cargo organizer thingy was like freakin' $75-$80, but as I mentioned I like having it. It is a generic product that is NOT made to exact-fit the Mustang trunk. THere is something on the right side trunk floor (seems like a fuel filler pipe but that can't be it) that makes it side a bit crooked. Being padded nylon it's not a big deal, but maybe the smaller organizer would work better?

Don't know, but the big organizer is great for hauling books, my lunch bag, & the "California Pop Top" Tyvec interior cover.

Have you used them and ever seen a bag still on the hook when you get there ? I at times carry a box fits nice between the Subs so then anything in it seems to stay put !
I also have this & like it , has the edging so if a spill it 's somewhat contained !

The one i have will hold maybe 20 Wal-mart bags with no trouble. the bottom hooks onto the two little plastic taps to help keep things secure. At first i didn't understand how it could work but after understanding the concept of the design of it, it is really a great idea.

had to stock up for a party at my house last night loaded the trunk with food,
3 30 packs of beer, plus 3 cases of twisted tea, 3 cases mike lemonade and a 1/2 keg had to put some things in the back seat, like an extra garbage can for the keg, but no issues at all with anything sliding around.. yes the trunk was closed

Why didn't you mention anything about that party.

I had the same problem with all kind of stuff sliding around the trunk. I bought myself a cargo/trunk organizer for $25 at Wal-Mart, which has a non-slip bottom. It also has adjustable cargo compartments which can be adjusted with the velcro. If you need the room in the trunk, the organizer neatly folds flat.

A lot of time I also utilize the extra room in the spare wheel compartment, as I don't have a spare and only have the compressor. Lots of room to store emergency kit and other tools.

This sounds just like the "Ford Accessories" piece I paid $75 for at my local dealer.

Now I have to check it out... wondering if it's similar to the Ford one!?
