I don't know if it's my driving or the trunk lining material being slippery, but I really shouldn't take my 5.0 to the grocery store anymore. When I get home and open up the trunk, it's like a tornado aftermath back there.

Maybe I can find a good cargo net for the trunk. It's kind of funny, but it won't be some day when a lid pops off of something (like a gallon of milk).

Yup. That happens even if I try to take it easy. Cargo net does the trick. Little weird to mount it though.

I normally just tie the tops of the bags, you don't even have to double knot it for it to hold normally, just one basic knot stands up pretty well. And of course keeping a staionary backend always helps- slow and easy.

I find it's best to avoid burnouts, donuts, 0.9+ G turns, and power-shifting with groceries in the trunk

im not sure if the 2010+ trunk has them, but the 05-09 has little hooks that you put the bag loops onto and that should keep them from sliding around

I ordered a cargo net from my dealer. It un-hooks when not needed.

I was thinking of putting in a decent sized container and slapping on some tape-on velcro on the bottom so it sticks to the cargo area.

I bought some non slip lining (like you put in the bottom of a tool box) at Sears. Cut it to fit the trunk. Works wonders.

No. The net comes with a couple hooks you install where the push type pins are that hold the trunk carpet in place.

My V6 trunk is full of open top boxes I got from the grocery store.
I put the groceries etc. in them and they stay put 'cause there are so many.
If I want to put larger stuff in, I just throw them away and get more next time.
Best of all they are FREE.

You guys just don't get it do you, don't ever put things in the trunk that might move around when driving your 5.0's, you just never know when you might encounter a rival SS or Chally. Put everything on the floor behind the front seats.

not a 10/11...but with 93..i just throw a couple cardboard boxes in trunk for grocery trips...could always put velcro strips on bottom

I used to love cargo nets (my 1999 540 had the absolute best design), but this time I bought the stupidly overpriced black padded nylon trunk organizer from Ford accessories dot com (link below), and I am actually pretty happy with it. It has 4 separate 10" tall compartments that can be combined if needed, and does a great job of containing general Trunk Junk. It can all be folded flat if needed. There's plenty of room still remaining in the trunk area forward of the organizer (under the top stowage compt/rear shelf area).

It hooks with adjustable elastic loops to the tabs on the forward side of the rear trunk wall.

There's also a matching cooler available that fits into this organizer, but I didn't get it - I use a soft "Playmate" cooler (on sale for $15) that fits the organizer perfectly.
