Can i move it off the trunk and inside on to the rear package shelf? Will it work properly?

It will work fair. It would have to be as close to the glass as possible. If.....and that is a big if.....the sat. position was towards the front of the car as you drive around, you might get some interference. The slope of the rear window will help a lot.

I used one in a '66 Mustang and had it stuck on the radio grill at the front windshield. Every once in a while I would get some interference but not enough to cause me to put it outside the car.

As a side question, I assume it would leave a hole in the decklid? Is this correct or is it just taped on?

It looks like a big zit and I plan on listening to pandora all the time anyways

2nd on the big zit. After my free 6 months Sirus is history. Dealing with xm/sirus is a PITA.

Yes....hole in the trunk. Also, I am not sure how far it is before you find a plug on the antenna lead. Remove ant, patch hole, paint trunk lid.....done.

I have not had any issues with SIRUS for several years and several cars.

I'm doing a GT500 spoiler on my CS and it has 8 bolt holes and the GT500 uses four. I bought a take-off GT trunk lid and it doesn't have Sirus sat. ant. and would like to keep that way as it would look cleaner.

My idea is to mount the sat antenna on the cowl behind the edge of the hood on the far right side. There it will be in the open but mostly hidden behind the hood.
