Strut tower is in the front, shock tower is in the rear FYI. As for your question, I don't know. My 2011 GT Premium has one.

I own a 10 so I am not sure about the 11's & 12's but... on the '10's you had to have a 19" wheel package to have the strut tower brace.

Be glad you don't have one, it makes checking your oil dipstick such a PITA.

I wish I could find a brace for my 500 that didn't look like sheet like the ford racing one does.

All convertibles get the brace, regardless of wheel size, but as for coupes, only the ones with 19" wheels (Brembo or otherwise) get the brace as std equipment.

It's just my opinion, but it is absolutely disgraceful that your salesman didn't know this. Any Ford salesman with a brain stem should be aware of this basic difference or else his family is probably going hungry.

As for the issue of having a brace (sounds like you wanted one), one can be added to your car quite easily. I bought mine from Blue Oval Industries on eBay for $135. There are others. Someone on this forum wanted $90 for his barely used brace. So just get one and bolt it on. But as pointed out above, the oil dipstick will be a little harder to access, and as my friend noted: the 5.0 engine looks bigger without the brace going over top of it. I don't care, I like the brace.

Go to your Dealer and tell the Sales Manager that he owes you a brace.

I tried that, no dice. I also didn't get the lower engine splash guard same thing.

Ford salesman Oh we can order one for you- just $300.
Me Oh ok and next time I think I will buy a Camaro.

The list of petty things from Ford has me switching manufacturers next time around. I have had several mustangs and I think this is going to my last.
