Shaker Scoop on 2011

Will there be a functional Shaker Hood Scoop option available for the 2011? I have seen pics of dmhines excellent 2010 and think with a similar hood stripe it looks right at home.

Theres no option from the factory, but there undoubtedly will be aftermarket ones. Just a matter of how long it takes to come out. Probably one from Roush or Saleen in the near future.

CDC is the company who worked with Ford on the previous year models for the shaker scoop system and most likely has already got one in developement.

Looks like any Brembo equipped cars have a strut tower brace. That pretty much eliminates the Shaker as an option for them.

Yup, definitely won't work with the brace.

It could work as a ventilation scoop, but not as an induction scoop.

What would you mount it on, the strut bar?

Would look kind of silly when you open the hood, plus it wouldn't shake with the motor.
