It's good, but not great... The problem isn't necessarily with the head unit or amps, it's with the cheaply made speakers. $100 will greatly improve it: https://themustangsource.com/showthread.php?t=482936

So MY question is, how does this bode for Vert owners? cant pull down the back seats----the bass of the shaker 1000 is essentiallly just trapped in the trunk!

Interesting idea, The first time i ever heard a Ford 1000 system was in an SN95. It sounded so good that is why I got it in my 07. But my 07 sounds nothing like the Mach 1000 system, I'll have to try it with the seat down.
