Delivery (sales) Stats:
Mustang September 2011 Deliveries (actual sales): 5,054
Compared to Competition:
Camaro sold 6,994 units in September 2011.
Challenger sold 3,328 units in September 2011.

They've been bringing in used mustangs from auction to try and fill the gab there.
Exactly what I've been thinking since news they were bringing it back. 'Wonder for how long, this time?' Losers! How can die-hard chevy fans love sonething that tomorrow, might be killed? Killed as in not made anymore.
Not sure how acurate this is, but I was told by a Ford sales person, last year, the new game plan was to cut production, across the board, so the lots were not full of unsold cars. It is supposed to be a more realistic approach to production, based on the economy. Also, the incentives were going to be few and far between. I am not sure if there has been a decrease in incentives with Ford or what Chevy is offering to move the Camaro. But that might explain why we see so few Mustangs on the dealers floor. I know the Chevy dealer has several Camaros sitting there and they have been there for a while.
