Seats: Cashmir or Blue Stripes?

I´m going to order a grabber blue soon:-); saw the Package 401A seat stripes colors on fotos o far, but how does it look like in real? Does the blue look cheap as on the foto?

(Bit afraid blue could look a bit cheesy / cheap / when time goes on, cashmir more classy more descrete maybe less boring afte some years). what are your thoughts or even better, experience?

blue

cashmir

Is the seam (stiching) color alwais the same as the stripe in the middle? (I thought i saw a regular black seat with blue stiching)

(..Maybe one cant say its a must for a grabber, cause you can argue there´s is enough blue on it already. Like a woman with enough makeup:-)

((At that occasion: In the electronic package i cant use the navigator (i live in europe) so, is something else interesting/usefull in this package? (the sirius satellit stuff i m afraid probably also cant use here, dvds are out i thought))

thanks for all your help, max

I pondered the same thing, and decided to order the white stripes on the seats... but it's a white car. Would have been a bit tougher decision on a GB car, which it seems the blue striped seats were specifically made for.

Is that ´cashmir´ actually white? (not silver, gey). Makes sense to your car. (Are the seams white too?)

Buying older used cars (as i did the last 20 years) was much easier

I test drove a 2010 GT in Grabber Blue with the 401A package that had charcoal leather with Grabber Blue stripes and stitching. I thought it looked very nice. I didn't think it looked cheap at all. If I were getting a GB Mustang with the 401A package I would choose the GB stripes in a heartbeat.

I ordered the Kona blue and wanted the 401a so i went with the grabber blue accents even though it won't match the exterior. I figured it would still be closer than a white stripe.

Hopefully there will be a way to match it later.

The GB stripes are nice to bring a little color to the inside. I still prefer the standard leather seats with no stripes though. I do wish they offered colored keyed stiching on them though instead of just the white.

Haven't seen it in person, but I saw some pictures of a GB Mustang with the GB accent seats, and I have to agree it looked very nice.

"Stiching" are that the hairs? I like too those very fine blue stichings i saw it on a black seat, just the stripe in the middle is too much, maybe i order the blue just to get the blue stiching and let replace the blue stripe in the middle(maybe not so complicated), in case i will not like it (any more, some day).

Kona with Grabber stiching looks good.
I've seen one up close and it looks cool.

Basically dark blue paint with lighter tones in the stiching.
It'd be what I'd get if I was ordering.

Patience as nothing to do with it...finances does

Lots of stuff to pay off and finishing my basement at the moment. I'm ok, there'll be some nice stuff in the pipeline. Sucks I can't get one right away, but gives me a chance to see what the next gen looks like

The cashmere is not white or silver as it does look that way in some pictures, rather it is a creamy off-white and easy to maintain.

Sounds like you're making the smart choice. You've already got a stang to hold you over now, and they'll only get better the longer you wait. Win win

Yeah but you know it would look better with a darker blue to match the exterior.

I am thinking maybe a dye for the stitching and I am at a loss at how to color match the stripe.

Have an upholstery shop unstitch the factory GB stripes and have them replace them with a darker shade. Badabing badaboom.

Question What else comes in the 401a package?

Hi all

What else comes in the 401a package besides just the stripe down the center of the leather seat?

Does anyone know? If you can elaborate... thanks in advance

Isn't the pool ball shifter part of that package? Or no? Anyway, it may affect what shifter you get.
