Scuffs and Scrapes
It's hard to tell how deep those scratches are, but I had a bunch of fine scratches on my previous motorcycle (caused by my dumb son who attached a magnetic tank bag to the tank when it had a bunch of grit on the magnet). I was able to remove them by hand rubbing Meguiar's #2 Professional Fine-Cut Cleaner with a microfiber cloth. The scratches were 100% gone when I was done, but these scratches were not particularly deep to start with. Well worth the $6 for the cost of the bottle (and safe for clearcoat).

Thanks, I will give these things a shot. I am not terribly surprised, I finally saw a 2010+ body here in a town of 300k. Saw two today and both were V6s which blew my mind, but explains why I keep finding new people around my car whenever I walk out of where I am.
True, I think a disillusioned myself with being away 6 years. But I mean the dealership in town sells Roushes, so I figured there would be a few more GTs about.
If I had to guess it looks like someone leaned up against it with a button on their jeans pocket and was moving around a lot. Nearly all of them are vertical so I am not sure.
Maybe some dumb *** posing for a Facebook pic like its his car or something. Seen that before.
That does suck. It's quite maddening that people do not respect others property. Accident....probably. But that doesn't make it any better.
I got keyed at a volunteer event and turned it into my insurance under comprehensive. Cost me $100 to make it new again. I wasn't ready for my still pretty new Bullitt to start lookin' like a Steve McQueen beater.
(I'm still not ready for that!)
On mine, they had to blend paint on more than one panel - but they can't blend clearcoat, so several entire panels were shot - just from this little key job. $1300+

Used some Maguiars (sp?) clear coat safe buffing compound (couldn't find the specific one mentioned.) It worked out well, ended up finding a few more identical scuffs about 6-8 inches from that set... no idea what someone was doing. But it all came out for around 8 bucks (with pads) so no harm no foul.
Thanks for the tips guys!
