Hey all,

wondering if this fits on the V6 front grill

http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=1268

i cannot find a definite YES/NO on that page...

tell me if im missing something be as its 2 AM, i might b missing alot

as some of you may know im looking into buying a new 3.7, and instead of going dark stainless billet from the factory, id prefer to get this i love Roush parts (im thinking Roush Axel-backs) and plan on going in that direction.... just the grill of the stock pony isnt as eye pleasing to me

also, if i got the Standard (not Premium) Mustang V6, could i aftermarket/dealer install the little spoiler you get with the appearence package/performance package?

As far as I know the Roush grille will fit the V6.

And you can get the base car with the spoiler on it, package 101A is the "Sport Appearance Package" for the base car. It includes the spoiler and the lower body side stripe, the stripe can be deleted.

That grill will not fit a V6 unless you put a GT front bumper on and get the GT grill surround.
So basically in theory it will, but you will need anywhere from 3-500 dollars worth of front bumper and components to do it.

As for the Stock GT Spoiler, as said above it is a $195 dollar option from Ford with or without the Rocker Tape Stripe.

Hmmm...

Guess the grille is going to be something else I will have to fab myself along with my own CAI. Don't care for what is offered for the V6 cars on either count.

And just FYI, 101A sport appearance package is $295 MSRP.

The thing that confused me was on the Ford website i cant build my own with that appearence package without having the PP also.

You have to pre-select the 101A (base) or 201A (premium) to get the sport appearance package to work right on the build and price site.

Look under the "Packages" heading and you will see it.

Ford offers 3 grills that will fit the V6 besides the stock, the California Special, the Mustang Club of America and the Pony Package Grill (which I am putting back in mine with the GT/CS Conversion I am doing).

Hmmm... Nothing new, that build and price site has been screwed up more often than it has been working right.

Go to cars.com and you can build one out and see the invoice price as well as the MSRP.

Those grilles are "overlay" type, they fit over the stock grille.

Don't care for them, plus they use thin grille bars and about twice as many bars as the Roush.

That would be doing the same thing as the GT conversion. You will still need the GT grill surround to fit the grill I do believe.
BTW, Roush also sells the lower matching grill for the Bumper also.
