I had the same issue and I just squeezed the hose to burp the tank and pump. Others have used vacuum to get the fluid flowing.

You use the old check volve over. The supplemental instructions spell it out real well. I added the link in the 2nd post in this thread.

I looked at the supplement. Here's a picture of my assembly. What am I doing wrong?

I burped the hose where it comes out of the pump. I now have circulation. Yea!

I now have brakes. I had assembled the 4 port valve incorrectly.
