Seen a few vids of this, definitely dig the setup. How much louder are these than the Stingers?

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but I thought the Roush exhaust was the "Stinger" exhaust which was made by Borla for Roush like the Ford Racing "Stingers" are made by Borla for Ford Racing. Is this not true or is this a completely different system for the 2010s?

I was looking at the Roush website and I see a new part listed: Part #403936

I haven't heard of this until now. Sounds great! Nice work! So, I have the same question as 06GT now. How much louder are these than the Stingers? Thanks!

If Branman doesn't mind me tailgating on his thread, I just got the same Roush system installed on my GT today. Here is a video of it standing still. I need to video tape it from inside and drive-bys when I get a chance. Unfortuanately my ears must be more sensitive than most cause I think the drone inside is a little too much at certain RPMs/loads, like around 2K RPM. These are alot louder than stock but at idle very quite. But they get real loud when you step on it. I still need to evaulate it.

P.S. Braman, very nice video BTW.

Sounds awesome. You say that there is a little too much drone? Skyboss claims none. I know that drone is somewhat relative, but we're on two ends of the spectrum.

I know thats why I said maybe its just me or the type of driving. My driving is alot of stop and go, 0 to 45 mph with 3.73 and 5 speed manual, stock everything else. I also notice that the exhaust is louder when the engine is cold. So maybe someone driving mostly at highway speeds would not notice. I am going to try to capture it on video and post to the site.

If it didn't have the Roush stamped on the tips I'd have this on my GT500.

Perhaps one man's drone is music to another? Back in my sportbike days, it always amused me when guys would run basically open pipes on their I-4's and thought it sounded so wonderful. I am a gearhead but that is not a pleasant sound.

Now a V-Twin or a Triumph triple? That's a different story.
