Rocker Panel Debris
Rocker Panel Debris
Maybe this has been covered already... Has anyone else noticed that a ridiculous amount of debris (Small Rocks and Dirt) collects in the very back of the Rocker Panels? Every time I clean the car and I bump the black plastic protector in front of the rear tire lots of stuff falls out. I only have 2,000 miles on the car. It has never even seen rain since I have owned it. Obviously anything the rear tires kick up gets funneled into the rocker panel from the wheel well. But it just seems like a lot of junk! Seems like salt could collect there for those who do daily drive their Mustang and cause corrosion on the metal under body in that area (Yes I know the Rockers are plastic). For others who have noticed this... Any good cleaning tips? I tried compressed air without much luck. I would prefer to not have to pull out the long plastic rocker retaining clips. I found best success just laying on the ground and repeatedly tapping on the rocker... Thanks!
ive noticed stuff gets trapped in the area behind the rear tires. i havent really noticed anything in front of them though. but i live on a gravel road so theres gonna be small rocks and dirl on pretty much everything under my car.
