I have track fever and it's winter, so I pulled together a little compilation of a few clips from the past 2 seasons with my Mustang GT. Few cool cars I got past and a couple that took me

 

Nice............. I can't believe you let the silver German car and the white ZL car and the Shelby pass you. You really need a GOOD tune because your driver mod seems to be pretty good.

 

haha I haven't done a single power mod on my car - in due time

And that GT2 I let by at Watkins - he blew past me like I was standing still when I was WOT 4th gear. Something like 600hp+

I will say that in almost all the clips except the first two, I was on fairly hard street tires. Tossed on slicks at the end of the season and holy crap :thumbsup:

Next season will be very very fun

Looks like a blast, nice video. Makes my auto crossing seem really small. I would love to get in on that racing.

 

Need more power I guess if I dropped $100k+ into my car it would probably keep up with that GT2 just fine though!

Nice compilation! It's really cool getting the passing/being passed shotd from the other cars. One of these years I'll get a GoPro. They are down to $199 these days, and I've been wanting one to film my track outings.

Was that white Camaro a 1LE? What was your impression of going up against one of those?

 

The white Camaro was a Z28. It stuck like glue especially compared with the tires I had on that day...

I had been thinking about splicing the passing and being passed clips for a while, I think it's pretty cool. Not that I have any editing skills. But gives me something to think about next season for some cooler videos!

You should go - there are a number of groups that go there.

Check out SCDA1.com for a July event that I will hopefully be instructing at. All the clubs are rolling their schedules out over the next month. Another group I highly recommend is Northeast Track Days - I believe they'll be at the Glen this season too.
