Ricaros very uncomfortable, any solutions?

Hey guys,

My wife has been having issues with recaros. She is pretty short and when she sits, the opening for the 5 point harness hits her in the back of the head. Has anyone found a good and aesthetically pleasing solution? I found adjustable neck pillows but imo they are ugly.

Didn't you just order the car?? If so just opt for the standard seats. Not worth your wife being uncomfortable every time she gets in car.

If you still can, opt for the regular seats, then just replace yours with a used one later on.

Try to find a thick black pillow case and put it over the top of the seat.

What about adding a cushion onto the bottom of the seat for her to sit on? Get some good foam and find out how much is needed, then have a nice cover made for it.

Good idea, especially if you could find an OEM seat bottom replacement. You could cut off the extra and sew it up into a cushion. Or just find some sweet lookin material.

Something like this baffles me. I have encountered a CTS-V owner which complained that its Recaro seats were causing him back pain. Recaro GmbH & Co. KG does nothing but seat-ergonomics for the last ~100 years; they live, breathe, eat, drink, sleep, pee, and poop ergonomics. Every time I sit down in a Recaro seat, it doesn't matter which one, I don't want to get up anymore.

Oh well.

It comes with regular seatbelts , to have a harness u need a roll cage for the bar behind the seat to secure it to or it can really hurt you in a crash.
