Replacing the lower plastic body pieces...

The side bottom rockers and the rear tail piece...Who's replaced them with a product that does not fade as the stock pieces do.. I've seen carbon fiber replacement or ones that have that look, ideally want something that does not FADE.

Or is there chemical treatment (armor all type stuff) that actually works??

If any-a-yous have pictures of an improvement over stock please post them up.

Thanks.

just paint them over. SEM makes special bumper paint or just use semi-gloss black rustoleum paint for plastic. That's what I did. works fine.

I'm considering that.. Don't want to color match the car, I think it "fattens-up" the profile of the vehicle.

Do you have any pictures of how yours turned out?

My car is Ignorant Silver...

I use turtle wax back to black. Works pretty good.

no pics, but it looks fine. semi-shiny black. to me it's nicer than the splotched gray. don't have to constantly put back-to-black on it to keep it looking good.

Consumer Reports did a test of a variety of the back to black treatments - results posted here: https://themustangsource.com/f659/bl...n-test-529794/

I thought Mother's made 'Back To Black'? Turtle Wax has one, too?

Lol. I combined two products. Mothers makes back to black. Turtle wax makes trim restorer. Both are good. My memory is not.
