Removing stock spoiler, adding plugs-- does it look ok?

Thanks to everyone for the insight. You'll be glad to know that you have collectively talked me out of doing this completely. 
This is the best option...but I have a thing about always wanting to be able to put my car back to 100% stock according to the window sticker...so perhaps I need to open the search for a whole new trunk lid and keep the original in the attic.
Ha! I'm re-watching the entire run of that amazing show and I'm nearly at this very episode. So good!!! Picard rocks.
