Folks,
Got a Real Parts dillema here....I need the Correct Part number for the Red Brick
Steering wheel, I have a Race Red car with the Black leather interior, and would like
to swap out my wheel for the Red one....I KNOW it Exists, as my friend has a Black coupe
With the Brick Red interior including the SW Obviously..problem is I've called ALL The
Biggest Ford dealers (Tousley, etc.) And they have NO Part number for this ONLY the Black wheels......

It doesn't exist in the Ford parts catalog that I can find. All cars optioned with the red interior had a black steering wheel. The one your friend has must be a custom covered piece.

 

I could've sworn I've seen a factory red steering wheel.

 

I know the 2010/11/12Performance White exterior with the Red Brick/Cashmere interior have Red leather steering wheels ... My wife actually likes that color combo ... Me= ??

I've seen others with the red steering wheel,, It maybe that the red wheel was only available with the red brick/cashmere interior?

One way to get the part number might be to test drive a car with the red wheel n' pull it off n' get the number off it ... Not saying I'd do that, but ...

For 10+ cars this might be true, but the Ford contact I have says there is nothing in the parts catalog for 05-09 cars. However a 10+ wheel should fit an 05-09 car just so long as it is a base wheel with only the cruise buttons. Idk if you could make one with the radio buttons work or not.

 

Considering his sig, I assume he's looking for a wheel for a 10+ car...

Yeah thats the one, it is available on the 2010+ cars.

 

To the OP-

Hop on eBay and see if there are any cars listed with that steering wheel. write the VIN down and bring it to a dealer and ask to purchase the steering wheel for that car, that should do it for you.

My God, do a little research yourself instead of asking us to do it for you.

Ford base P# is 3600C.

Go to your Ford dealer and give them this VIN 1ZVBP8CF0B5135680. Ask for the steering wheel for that car.

Keep in mind it is for a 2011 GT Premium, it will have controls on it like the one above for things that the 05-09 cars don't have. They won't work at all and I don't know if the cruise buttons will work or not either.

 

I read this entire thread and the OP made no mention of needing one for a 05-09 car. He even tells us in his original post it is a 2011 car. The red wheel did not come out until 2010 and it was available with the 401A Red and Cashmere leather interior.

I have a black car with brick red 401a interior, I would be willing to trade you my red wheel for your black one, my car has a shaker 1000 in it not nav. I don't know if it matters but maybe. Let me know
