Recommend a simple white shift **** replacement for me...
Looking for a white ball shift **** that comes with the adapter that attaches the shifter boot. I'm looking for a factory looking end result....no hack jobs. Any suggestions? Links? Photos? Thanks.

I've heard a lot of success with this site and their shifters made solely for 2005+ mustangs. Grabberpony.com
You can get custom engravings on it and everything (if you so chose)
here's a pic of a white one for reference that's on their site.

Might be worth a PM to ksguy73 as he had a thread regarding his new shift ****, but I think it was lost in the site crash.

Looks to be the same type as the one above.
And, Dear God, I love his car

I also went w/ grabberpony and had him custom make one to match my crimson red interior (sent him a sample of the leather). I opted not to use the mount. Not white, but another vote for grabberpony, and you get the idea.

Another vote for Grabber Pony! Just note that if you currently have the standard shift **** (not the Bullitt), you'll want to order the boot adapter for the 05-09 model from the web site like the one in the photos above. On grabberpony.com, the adapter shown for the '10 model is only if you have the Bullitt shift ****.

I bought the Roush shifter **** (includes the shift boot adapter) for mine, got it in black but I believe it is also available in white. I didn't like the Roush shifter adapter, so I got the adapter from GrabberPony to use with my Roush ****, and I love the combination of the two.

I had not been to the grabberpony site in awhile and now I see this.....
http://www.grabberpony.com/index.php...&productId=159
seems to be different than the 05-09 piece.

Tell Mark at Grabberpony that Barricade said Hey if you order from him.
My wife's car is on there as well:
bought the ball about 3 years ago and its a DD - still looks brand new!

I'll have to check out mine closer, but there is a pretty good chance you take off the "Roush" lettering on the ****. I've been meaning to attempt doing just that on mine. I've got nothing against Roush I guess, I'd just rather not have the lettering on if it is possible to take it off.

You ONLY want that piece if you have the factory bullitt style shift ****. I mentioned this to Mark at grabberpony a while back after I ordered the piece in your link above and it looked ridiculous on my shifter. If your car came with the standard GT shift ****, you most definitely want the 05-09 adapter to go along with whatevever new shift ball you put on. It's still a little unclear on the web site.
