Is the lower valance in this pic from a GT500?

It's the 2010 GT500 Lower valance. The same valance will be used on the 2011 Mustang GT California Special!

Okay, cool, thanks.

I think this will be on my list of mods.

I think this valance, along with painting it body color from the character line indentation on up, would go a long way towards enhancing the looks.

This actually looks like the rear fascia that is available through Ford's accessory store for all 2010 V6's and Gt's. Take a look at the link.

IMHO for the GT with a GT500 valance you need some 4 inch tips in the back, the stock 3.5" look outta place.

That wouldn't be a problem, axle-back is on my mod list too!

the 2011 GT valance looks pretty good too

Yea I mean I'm not gonna knock it in any way, It still looks fine. But I like the fuller effect from the 4". After putting on my axle back, that .5 difference makes up for a lot. Because the circumference with the 3.5" is 11 inches. and with the 4" is 12.5 inches so it gives you another 1.5" of 'fullness' all the way around.

Circumference = Pi(3.14159...)*Diameter.

Still debating if I want to do the GT500 rear valence or wait for the Steeda one. I can't imagine the Steeda one being cheap though...

Anyone got pics of the rear end of a Kona GT500 from the rear? Without stripes would be even better.

Found the GT500 rear valance online as low as $118.50, took a little bit of searching the ford parts outlets to finally figure out that they call it a "Bumper Extension" instead of valance or diffuser.

Definitely want some sort of 4" exhaust with hi-flow X-pipe on the GT. That thing will scream! I may just do the MRT X-pipe (catted) with GT500 take off mufflers. That would fill out the rear diffuser nicely.
