Re-debut with new mods

Since all history of my car got deleted with the crash I figured I would post up some new ones with the new GT500 spoiler/diffuser and blackout panel. I really like the way it turned out. The blackout panel I got from nyyankee on ebay is one of the best cheap mods I have ever done, very impressive. Next up is the CDC chin spoiler as soon as it is released.

How much was the GT500 diffuser if you don't mind me asking? Roush has their rear valance for $175 but I cant see it being that cheap.

According to Ford Accessories it's $127.05 for the part and 52.80 cents for install at an authorized Ford dealer. making for the 179.85 as stated on the website.

So $175 for the Roush seems about right... (if that's with the install)

Is that the price you got it for?
Also is that the stock exhaust?

Nice 'stang man!

Talking

You, Sir, have a very similar taste to me. You know how much I love your car, well, those latest mods are exactly what I'd want to do to a 2010

I think I got the diffuser for around $210 installed. It turned out being a lot cheaper for the install than the Ford accessories site quoted when all was said and done. I have FRPP stinger exhaust. I love the sound but have been thinking about possibly adding 4" tips to them to fill out the rear a little more.

My springs are the M-5300-K models which lowers 1.5".

Definitely go with the bigger tips. 4 inchers will bring it all together. I'm with twin turbo, you have good taste and i would do everything the same (only mine would be black).

I think I'd go for a silver 2011 with these same mods, including the wheels......but only to keep my black '05 company.

But the GB is gorgeous, just gorgeous!

Your car looks amazing! Question. Did you have to make any other mods to the suspension with those springs? How's the ride and does the car handle significantly better? These 10's handle pretty good off the showroom floor and the ride is great....they just sit too high.

The dealer told me the only other thing they added was caster/camber plate. The ride is rougher than the stock one I test drove for sure but it is liveable. One of these days I will go with different dampers to smooth it out a little. As far as handling goes I really haven't pushed it in any corners. I'm more of a straight line guy so lowering for me is more about looks.

I kind of like the magnetic rear panel black out. How well does it fit? In other words, does any of the blue stick out along the edges?

I've got one and it fits great, no paint is exposed.

Weiner, its been a while since I've seen your car, and since the site went down and all your old pics are gone I would personally enjoy some new pics!

It fits really well. It doesn't wrap around the edges so you can see a little paint if you are looking at an extreme angle from the side. It's nothing you would notice unless you are looking for it though. Absolutely nothing shows around the faux gas cap.

Lookin really mean! Can't wait to see pics w/ the CDC front lip on!

Are there any additional Gurney Flaps even available for the GT500 wing? If so, where do you get them? All these articles online state you can change it out.
