Radio Killed the Radio Star

I have a 2012 V6, color Kona Blue, I bought new. Recently the radio has been going in and out until I heard a zap and the screen and functions went black. The only thing on the display were the directions and the temperature. I looked everywhere on this site for solutions. I read one possibility was to check the fuses. Fuse #39 is the radio/navigation fuse. I took the spare fuse and put it in slot #39 and the the clock function appeared but it's blinking and I can't set the time or get the radio to work.
I read things about putting the circuit board in the oven?!?

Anyone has suggestions, solutions? Something tells me there's an easy fix without sending the radio out for repair.
Help!
