So is Race Red a new name for Torch Red aka Colorado Red, or is it something different?

 

That color is beautiful! It looks like it has a orange pearl overcoat.

 

I saw my first 2007 or 2008 CS yesterday. Couldn't wrap my head around the plastic looking add-ons. I don't get the attraction of non functional side scoops on this one either. Just my opinion, and I am not wanting to take away from any of your views and likes. I do like the look of the front and rear though. How about a side scoop delete option.

All that said, I am so glad to see these things showing up. Keep the picture coming.

 

Wow! I am so glad I ordered Race Red!!! It looks way better out in the light than it did at the Detroit show.

The side scoops and the stripes kept me from getting the CS, even though I love the front facia and the wheels.

 

Cool. I see the dealers are already starting with their crappy stickers!

 

I called my salesman on Monday and told him not to put the stickers on mine when it arrives and he gladly agreed.

 

I really do not understand why they feel the need to do that. Give me a license plate surround. Give me a static sticker for the rear window. If I'm happy with your dealership, I'll keep it on the car.

 

I think that was a real good call. I have never ordered a car, so always had to have them remove it before I purchased.

Looks good..however. The offset of the wheels are so wimpy, needs much more aggressive offset. It looks like the rear wheel needs a 20mm spacer (which in my eyes is way to big) just to get it to the edge of the fender and help feel those huge rear wheel wells. Other than that I love the front of the GT/CS and when I get a GT I will do the mod to the car along with much more aggressive offsets for the wheels. Those 245's look puny on the car with that wimpy offset. Don't get me wrong I love the car just needs a little "tuning".

It replaces Torch red, but it is a different red. Less orange in it then Torch. Kind of reminds me of the 65 "Ramgoon Red" they used to have.

How much would it cost to add-on the Brembo Brake Package in the future??

Also, I don't care too much for the Rear Wing- but I can get used to it. That Race Red is gorgeous!!

 

The rear wing is obnoxious and can go, how about the spoiler that comes with the rear camera. That would look great on this car. I also think the MCA rims which are the same but black would have looked far better on this car.
