can someone explain why they would run 9.5 all the way around but had different width front and back? why not run a 9 or 8.5 in that case

I don't know the aspect ratios offhand

Front 265
Rear 285

The rim width versus tire width affects how the car handles it is done by our dynamics people on purpose. Why they did it on purpose I do not know off hand.

IMO, this gorgeous Race Red with white strips looks amazing, that being said, it also highlights the black-out panel in the rear, and I do not like that, at all.

I agree, the panel should NOT be on the 500's it's making a break in the stripes that looks like poop.

The boss and the GT500 share a rear fascia (the painted part and then the lower diffuser snaps in) but the V6 and the GT dont have the holes for the lower diffuser to snap in so the answer is no you cant just snap the lower part on your GT
Doesn't the California special share the same rear fascia as the Shelby and the boss??
