Quick video at the newly re-opened Thompson road course
Got out to the newly re-opened Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park road course this past week. Track was a lot of fun and the car did great, again. Only going to leave the video up for a couple days, hopefully a few people enjoy! I didn't have many laps with other closely matched cars/drivers here, but everyone was new to the track. It was partially my own fault for not jumping into the advanced group instead of the intermediate group, but it was still a blast!
Also, I had no tire chunking issues this time - the two that had some chunking did not get any worse, and the ones that had no chunking stayed that way.
Lastly, the "brake fade" I seemed to be having an issue with looks to actually be linked with a bad speedbleeder piece... one side of one caliper kept getting air, so it appears the speed bleeder piece was letting air in as the caliper got hot. I'll be switching back to normal bleeder valve for that location at a minimum. But I'm glad I have sorted out the soft brake pedal!!

That's what I was thinking too but i actually ran times similar to spec miatas. Track had good flow and powerful cars were running quick times when well driven. I'm very curious to see how a set of r comps or slicks knock down my times...
