Question about getting a '12

Hey guys, its so good to be back here...

Ok anyway, long story short, my current car was totaled last weekend, just waiting for the insurance to finalize details but the collision shop already declared it too costly to repair. I'm alive and healthy and thats all that matters.

That said, I wasn't planning on buying a car right now, but I have to. I was waiting for my lease to end to get into a 2014 or somehow try and hold off for a 15 with the gap of not having a car and saving up as much cash as possible. Well I need to buy a car within the next week or two and for passion's sake, I can't see myself getting into anything else but a Mustang GT again. For money's sake, I'll have to give up the things I wanted this time around, for the things I can live with (A GT Premium, manual is all good by me, nothing else added).

I know there are incentives out there and I actually spotted one premium 6 speed with 19" Nickel wheels for 30.6, my question is, can X-PLAN pricing be applied AND still receive the incentives, or am I reaching too much? I've searched this and the mustang forums and haven't found a solid answer yet so was wondering if you guys had an idea? I've emailed two dealers and they won't give me a straight answer, just keep telling me to come in and work out the numbers. So arm me guys, and let me know what I'm looking it? I would love to get a '12 for under 30k, pay the TTL in cash, and have lower monthly payments than my outgoing G37. Thanks!

You can get a new 2012 for less than X-plan if you look around a little, especially since the 2013's are out.

I didn't buy a GT but I got my 2012 V6 for considerably less than x-plan.

But anyway, yes, incentives can be used with x-plan.

Go to truecar.com and look up invoice with options. Don't pay a penny more. My dealer sold me my car at invoice + incentives.

That's what I'm talking about. If I could do incentives plus X-Plan then I'm in perfect reach!! I'll continue the hunt tonight. Thanks guys.

So after over a week of negotiating and searching, i finally got the car I wanted. its a 2012 GT Premium Performance White with the MT82. Sticker was 35,200, got it for about 29k, 31490 out the door, without X-plan.... good deal?
Anyway, I'm in love with it, and as soon as i get some money in my pocket, I plan on striping it up, axle backs, and a tune/CAI to start off. With that said, can I use the old SCT tuner from my 06 GT or will I need to buy a new one?
Also, where is a good place to order fitted stripes? Baltimore Street Mods used to be the place but it doesn't seem like they support the new stang?

Here's a quick pic during lunch today, from my iPhone.

I searched all over looking for a GT Premium red convertible w/ black interior. Found a new one 100 miles away 5 weeks ago. The dealer knocked off $6,000 off the sticker price. The deal was too good to pass up. $33,500 plus tax and license. The best resource was Ford's website using the search feature. You can check the dealers' inventories and see the price that they're asking and photos of the cars.

I wonder if it's possible to get a 2012 GT premium for the same monthly payments as a 2013 V6 Premium? Preferably under $400!

Here's a quick way to compute if your interest rate is 3% or less. For every $7,000 you finance, the payment will be $100 per month. If you finance $28,000, your payment will be about $400.
