I won't be ordering my new GT until likely November/December timeframe since my current car comes off of lease in Feb 11.

My question is how long does the current model year build run typically last and when do they start taking new orders for the '12 GT's? I am curious as to what model year I would likely end up "ordering"?

I heard the 11's will be on a long year, with 12's not coming out until late summer in 2011.

 

WOW, that is a long run if that turns out to be the case.

 

That will be the case. 2012 Mustang production should start in July 2011, right on schedule, making the 2011 production run about 14 or 15 months long.
