question about 2011 v6 tire size

I get the tire information from FORD official tech specs sheet as Doug listed. And after reading all the posts, I think it is clear that,
1. Ford takes the troubles coming from extra tire sizes only to achieve the MPG record (more parts more cost in inventory, logistics, etc.). I would consider it might be pure marketing results rather than something from engineering department.
2. Automatic V6 owners can switch to 225/60 size tires safely for better performance/appearance. Personally, I think 215/65 doesn't look good. It might make damage to the sports image of Mustang.

Since you ordered an AT, you'll be getting the 215's ... has nothing to do with Base vs. Premium.
