Pussyfooten Around

As much as everyone *****ed about the 05-09 interior at least it was durable. To keep this interior in pristine shape you must pussyfoot around and be very careful as it just has to many materials that either seem to scratch easy or ding up. Sometimes i miss my 08 even with 100hp less.

Which interior do you have? 400A or 401A? Which colors? What sort of damage are you seeing?

doesn't matter which between 400a/401a. I know he's talking about the door panels and surfaces like it (center console, dash, etc)

And he's right. I've scratched my door panel trying to get out of the car and the keys BARELY touched it. And I scratched center console with my watch. Boy was I ticked. Thank God both blemishes went 'away' with some armor all wipes.

But I am now VERY careful entering an exiting the vehicle. Keys go in pocket and the watch gets taken off.

And if you wipe your radio display screen with anything instead of using compressed air, it will look like you took a bunch of steel wool to it.

I bought some type of interior cleaning cloth, and it didn't scratch up the display. I was worried it may though.

I guess I've missed the ignition quite a few times while putting my key in, cause there's deep scratches all around that area - ooops.

Oh please. The 05-09 interior was just as bad. If not worse. The door panel, steering column and center console *material* are pretty much the same anyways.

I know what hes talking about. Anything shiny dings pretty easy. I have owned a 06,07,08,09 and a 2010. Black plastic hides dings better.

Someone said swiffer dusters... I might try that. I have 5 weeks worth of fingerprints on mine that need some attention.

Oakley bags' microfiber is crap. I only use them on my glasses that are trashed already. I would get some of that universal screen protector and cut it to fit...

On my electronics package screen I just use the same as I use on my LCD screens and Plasma screens at home.....a little distilled water on a microfiber cloth.
