Pray for my car

Hurrican Matthew will be dropping by in the next 24 hours and i have no garage to store my car . Im going to have to take a chance in the driveway next to bunch of trees, bushes or whatever gets picked up and thrown at my car.

Ugh. Awful. No nearby bridges or parking garages you can hide it in?

All bridges here are next to shore and no parking garages in my town. I just texted all my friends asking if they have a spot in the garage for rent lol, doubtful tho

Stay safe! Any chance you could go further inland to a city and stay in a hotel to ride it out? Park in their garage?

Evacuation is optional for my city, in order to get out of hurricane impact zone i would need to drive around 5 hours or more. I should be okay, i dont live near shore but also within impact zone non the less. All i can do right now is clear any loose objects/debris around my property. My cousins 2014 charger will also be out with me lol and a toyota van, maybe i can have them park around me and act like a shield for my gt.

I sympathize with you and wish you the best. Hope you come out A-Ok. It would be extremely tough to be in you shoes. Hope you have good insurance.

Maybe put it in a car storage facility in a higher elevation area around where you live?
Even if you do it for few days might be cheaper to pay a months fee, or maybe even have the place give you a discount deal just to store it for a week or so?
I have never looked into car storage prices, but I guess you could find something for much less then 100 bucks.

Why Hyperdrive said. I would look at renting a 10x25 or 10x30 space for a month and put her in there.

Somewhere not close to the Matthew-affected area. Cheap "insurance".

Put your family in the car and drive Northwest clear of the storm and all will be safe.

Just survived the hurricane, wind was pretty rough last night but slowed down this morning around 30mph. Luckily no damage from car or house, car looks super clean tho from the extreme car washing last night.

Living in Los Angles and putting up with ''natural disaster warnings " particularly due to wildfires and earthquakes and being a Paramedic I can testify to the need for safety, I hope YOU and your family can stay safe and worry about the car when you're safe, putting the lecture aside (lol) I can sympathize with you about I worry a earthquake will split the earth and swallow my GT up
