Possible A/C problem?

Hey guys,

I just have a quick question...this may be me being paranoid but I'm not sure if my A/C is working properly. When the car is parked/stationery, the A/C doesn't get very cold. The lowest I can set it to is 16 degrees celsius...but it just feels like a slightly cool breeze. From what I've heard the A/C should be "so cold it hurts" from what other people have said.

Now when I'm driving around it's a bit colder but still not ice cold or anything (this really isn't an issue since it's fairly cold enough but stationery seems way too warm for the lowest setting.)

Was wondering if this is normal or is something going on here?

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: also want to mention this is with the "Max A/C" setting on which seems to make it the coldest it can go.

You may want to check your owners manual. If I recall correctly, the MAX setting is used for hot, dry climates and quick cool downs. I believe it's use otherwise can cause the evaporator to ice up resulting in loss of cooling. Try running it on normal and see if the cooling improves. Again, I am not a tech, just my .02.

It should get pretty frosty while driving but won't be as cold when sitting still at idle.

And I don't recall on the 2010+ if it's separate but highest performance of the a/c will be on max a/c and in recirculation mode on the airflow.

It's under warranty, let the dealer check it out.
