Poll: Which is your fave colour for Mustang?
since other year colors are here tooo(maybeford will stumble in and use the thread as input on future colors- yeah right...) just gotta add:
I'm NOT personally a fan of red cars, but of all the late colors, gotta say I honestly think the 'Redfire' color was the most appealing in all lighting conditions- but in the sun was just over the top a great shade/perfect metallic mix...I still dont want a red car, stuck on blue for some reason, but that was a great color for these cars.
as I AM a big fan of blue, I'm glad the 2010 didnt come in the 1969 'acapulco blue' shade- I wont be able to buy any cars for a long time, mighta been a dilemma
Acapulco blue is another that has 'just the right metallic' IMO and really pops in the sun, my favorite shade of all theyve ever offered...the 'atlantic blue' was cool too- actualy was hoping vista was similar, as I ordered the 06 before the color was even pictured yet.
that KonaBlue foldout pic in the 2010 brochure sure looked nice...wish all three of ours were that color (still second to Acapulco blue though). I do think Ford did get a decent mix of color selection- only thing I kinda question is why so many shades of gray the last few years- yeah they all look good, but havent like near half the options been one shade of gray or another...and why didnt the bullitt have a original highland green option alongside DHG? why no 1970 blackjade green? just seems weve had nearly every greyscale from white to black, but very few slices of the color wheel to chooose from...I had a 81 dodge truck with a great shade of brown...yeah, yucky old brown, but it had a lot of gold metallic, and again, just popped in the sun- there still a lot of new territory to be covered colorwise. Sonic was kinda purple, my middle son loves the color...maybe some deep purple metallic would sell well too.
I am glad that there hasnt been any bland tan or light gold crownvic colors...to me the more 'soft' or earthtone could be lost and not missed...the new bright gold- now that still looks right at home on a sports/performance car IMO
