Correct, you can only get the Charcoal Black w/Cashmere accent strip with Red Candy Metallic. Race Red lets you get the Brick Red interior. Here's something close to what it will look like.

That's actually a 2010 in Torch Red, but Race Red would look about the same in that shot. I'm getting the Race Red with Brick Red interior in mine.

 

and if it's the same as our car, it's also metallic. Love the Race Red though.

Race Red reminds me of the old Rangoon Red that they had in 65. I'd like to get my 65 painted in that some day.

I love it!! that red steering wheel really adds to the interior as well!! Come on oct/nov!!!!

 

I'm also going to order some red floor mats to add a little more red to the interior. You'd bee surprized how much a little "mod" like that will make to your interior! lol

They are removed and have some kind of black screens in their place. Maybe they used the holes as a cold air intake.

 

That would look good if you could get screens like that to cover the fogs but leave them functional. Maybe the HIDs wouldn't look so remarkable then.

For me, it's the opposite. In my opinion, the red steering wheel is overkill and would keep me from getting the red interior. Imagine how nasty that wheel could possibly look after 10 years or so of dirt/dust/greasy hands/sun fading.

Under those lights, it looks like it has an orange tinge to it. It almost looks like a dark grabber orange. Very cool colour!

 

I saw the pictures of the race red pace car about a month ago and immediately decided that's the color I was going to get. Race Red V6 on order and can't wait for it!!!!!

Where did you get those fog covers man? My 2011 is on order and those almost make me want to get the HIDs.
