Pics of my ’11 GT with new wheels, tires, and tint
Well, the rain stopped and I finally got a chance to give her a quick wash. Here she is with her new wheels, tires, and tint:
Details:
Tint: 35% front, 15% rear
Wheels: Carroll Shelby CS69 Special Editions 20x9 and 20x10
Tires: Nitto Invo 255/35/20 and 295/35/20
Here are a couple of before pics:
And here are the after shots:
Sorry for posting so many pics but I really love the car and wanted to share it with you.
NOTE: I know most of you will say it needs a drop and I don’t disagree. However, it rides well and my commute is a bumpy one so I doubt I’ll be dropping soon.
Thanks for looking…

You and I have the same car except for the body kit and hood I added. I like your rims and tires so much so I've moved that set-up to the top of a very short list.
How does the car handle with these wheels and tires?
Where did you get them and did you buy them as a set?
With offsets you usually have a 40 in front and 35 in rear etc, to keep the tires close to the same height, was this an issue?
Thanks
I'm not lowering my car either. My front mask sits low and has already been damaged by the shipper moving it off a trailer and I'm afraid I might have problems with driveways and speed bumps as it is. the rest of the suspension will get upgraded.

Big Poppa:
The car handles great with the new wheels/tires. The Invos are much stickier and handle better at speed than the Pirellis. These wheels are larger and heavier than the stock wheels but it isn't noticeable at all from behind the wheel and there is no detectable performance degradation.
Offsets are +30 front and +45 rear but I think you were talking about aspect ratio of the tires in your post. These tires are slightly taller than the stock set-up. They throw my speedo off by about 2.5mph but I like the fact that the taller tires fill the gap better.
I bought the set slightly used from a member here (thanks 96lasersnake!) for a great price. he got them from www.rttire.com
These are the Special Edition CS69s (chrome and gloss black) and I don't see them on their site anymore though.
Thanks to you and everyone else for the positive feedback!

I've heard nothing but good things about the Invos. A bunch of 350 and 370 guys have run them and, having followed their cars down the Cherohala Skyway in NC I can attest to how sticky they are. They kick up gravel like mad!
