Picking it up tomorrow!
Trading my Black 2011 5.0 Premium (MT) in on a 2013 Grabber Blue Premium (AT) tomorrow afternoon. I signed up for the private offer (brochure), but haven't received it. Can someone remind me the name of dealer system they can check for that offer to see if I can get it?
My current Stang was a weekend / fun car and only has 2200 miles on it, so I'm getting an excellent trade-in price. Wife can't drive a manual and I really don't want to teach her on a 5.0. This will allow her to drive it when needed and make my commute for a new job much easier. Even though I love my manual trannies, I've never been a big fan of the 6-speed anyway. I've never had it in for service for the stiffness/notchiness, but I always run into the skip-shift and hate the location of the reverse gear.

Ahh VINCENT! Thanks a bunch. No way I would have remembered that. I will take lots of pics. First mod is gonna be the plasti-dip of the engine heat extractors in black. Love the car, but it needs some contrasting colors.
Good idea. I don't know much about plasti dip but guessing once its done it can't be removed?
Now that looks sharp. It does really bring the front and back end together. Assuming just spray cans instead of really "dipping' them. i saw there's an enhancner also to use afterwards if you want it shiny like back end. Kinda like the matte finish though.
Sounds pretty easy

One 9mm nut on each extractor, then you squeeze each of 3 sets of retaining clips as you pull the extractor out.... Should've taken pics!
The passenger side bolt/nut has a plastic holder for the windshield washer hose that just slides off the bolt.
Any tips on minimizing wheel spin with the auto? I'm getting pretty terrible 0 - 60 times ATM. I did the 1/8 in 9.2 @ 84.9 mph though, which seemed okay. What kind of 1/8 mile times should I be able to get.
