I am a little late in posting this...I wanted to wait until I had pictures. My wife swiped my camera for a few days so I had to wait.

So.. I picked up my Race Red 2011 GT last Saturday. I couldn't be happier with this car!! My wife and I drove from NC up to Lansdale PA (Yocum Ford rocks!!) and spent the night.

We had a late dinner and decided to drive over to see where the dealership was at around 11 PM. I knew it was closed but I waned to see my car!! I thought maybe my car was either outside, or I could see it through a window in the garage. It was dark so there I was skulking around with my flashlight looking through the windows, my wife was freaking out, thinking I was going to get arrested. No luck my car was well hidden.

The next morning I drove over to the dealership to pick up the car. RK2112 (Rick) was there picking up his Grabber Blue GT/CS Vert when I got there, so I got to meet him and his family, and take a close look at his awesome ride. We posed our new ponies side by side for a couple pictures.

I met Jeff finally, after talking to him on the phone so many times since February! He is the very young looking dude in the black shirt in the pictures. It was great to meet him and spend some time hanging out with him, talking cars. He is a great guy and took care of everything for me. I highly recommend to anybody looking to order a Mustang to at least talk to Jeff. It was a great day and I feel very lucky, I got a new car and made some new friends.

Looks great. Those side scoops and louvers though egh.. The hood scoop i like though. Those wheels look great. So far I've liked them on every color I've seen them on..

 

Thanks! I love the car. Break in is going well. I have about 600 miles on her now. (I had a 300 mile drive just to get home on Saturday) I got on her a few times, but not too much.

 

A cop? No. But I was in the Coast Guard for 30+ years, we are kinda the cops of the ocean! Why do I look cop like?

No, not losing anything, the car looks just the way I wanted it to...except for the black stripe, and thta is going on this morning!! more pictures later.

 

Very nice ride and congrats on the 5.0. **** all these threads are making me want to go back to another 5.0 Mustang. If I do this will be number 3 of the 5.0 series. Got to control myself...

 

Haha I guess Coast Guard/military is similar. Yeah you kinda look cop-like lol! Are you having the stripe painted or vinyl?

Thanks Rick, it was awesome. my wife followed me home... when we got to a red light not far from Lansdale...there was no one around so I punched it and just took off!! Wifey said she never saw a car get so small so fast!!

On a side note, she really liked your car. She says it is exactly what she wants.....oh boy here we go!

 

Now that's a garage I'd like to see. His and hers 5.0's. Just wouldn't want to be your friends when you try and move
