Pep Boys 2011 GT (Sema 'Stang)

I'm not normally a fan of bodykitted Mustangs, but this is pretty slick (minus the dumb stickers all over it!)

http://mustangsdaily.com/blog/2010/1...-2011-mustang/

Pep Boys is one of the last automotive companies we would expect to make a really cool Mustang, but they did just that and have the car on display at Paxton’s booth here in SEMA. Built at Pep Boys’ dedicated speed shop in Los Angeles, this 2011 Mustang features a full 3dCarbon Boy Racer body kit with Wraptivo graphics, Magnaflow exhaust system, Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs, KMC Nova wheels and a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter. Of course, Paxton’s new supercharger system for the 2011 Mustang is under the hood, and boosts the 5.0L V8′s horsepower by 45% and torque by 38%.

Paxton Superchargers – Novi 2200 gear-driven centrifugal supercharger with air-to-air charger cooler and high-flow bypass valve

Magnaflow – 3-inch competition series exhaust with Tru X-pipe, 5-inch round dual mufflers, dual 4-inch polished tips

Eibach – Pro-Kit lowering springs, 1.0-inch drop front, 1.5 inches rear

KMC Wheels – Nova, machined with black accents, 20Χ8.5 front, 20Χ10 rear

General Tires – Exclaim UHP 255/35/20 front, 295/30/20 rear

Xenon Extreme – 6000K HID kit, low beam and fog lamps

3dCarbon – full Boy Racer body kit, 3D500 rear spoiler, rear U-trim, headlamp splitters, front fender vents, 3D E-grill and louvers

Kicker Audio – Solo-Baric L7 12-inch subs (2), KS6930 (rear), KS680 (front), KS20 tweeters, amps ZX650.4, ZX400.1, ZX1500.1

Speed of Sound – Pillar triple gauge pod

Auto Meter – C2 wide band air/fuel gauge, C2 digital pro shift system level 2, C2 boost gauge, Cobalt amplifier temp, Cobalt voltmeter

SCT – Custom tune

VIS Racing – Full carbon fiber hood and trunk

Pioneer Electronics – AVIC-Z120BT flagship in-dash navigation AV receiver with DVD playback, built-in Bluetooth and 7-inch widescreen display with iPod interface

Scosche – dash kit with color touch screen HVAC controls, REVO audio cables and amp kits, Accumat hyperflex sound deadening

Aerocatch – latching hood pins

Lakewood Suspension – torque box brace, control arm relocation brackets, subframe connectors

Weathertech – digitalfit floor liners

RM Tech, Los Angeles, CA – complete tint

Sounds Crazy, Los Angeles, CA – audio installation and custom box

Viper – alarm with remote start

Meguiars/3M – Wraptivo graphics and stripes

Steeda – short-throw Tri-Ax shifter and chrome dress-up accessories

The CF hood and trunk lid look pretty hot.

There are some very, VERY nice details on this car.

OK, the stance is spot on and the wheels look superb (kind of a modern Mach1-look).....but the bodykit is beautifully integrated (looks blended) and the vent in the front wing (by the 5.0 badge) is superb.

SEMA usually throws up a lot of tasteless tat, but this is gorgeous. Just need someone to Photoshop out the various stickers (although I even quite like the skull on the doors!).

The hood is made by VIS Racing. Pretty pricey but assuming the quality is good that's about the "average" for a CF hood.

While I don't like the body kit, I think overall it looks really good for what it is. Another well done Mustang. Boy do I get tired of the stickers.

I take back everything negative I ever said about the Boy Racer body kit. At least on black, that is gorgeous!!

I think removing the fog lights would be perfect for this stealth effect.

I like it all except the lower rear valance.... just a tad too big in my opinion but the rest is pretty kickass.
