Love this site! I've searched this topic to no avail. I'm seeking opinions/suggestions.

I really enjoy tossing my car around as many twisties as I can find, she eats them up like a beast.

I was chatting with my SO and she said she was rather uncomfortable as a passenger as compared to her experience in the MS3. Her feeling re: MS3 is that it carried her with it, whereas the mustang was less cupping.

I've got a 2014 GT Premium with comfort package. Why the frak didn't it come with an Oh Sh_t handle?

Proper wedging for me between the door and center console kept me planted. Would similar action work for the passenger? Are there handles that can be installed? I'd rather not order the recaros. I suppose 5 point harnesses would keep us planted. Looking for a more gentle approach.

She'll get used to it brother. The Wifey took some time, but finally realized the difference between her Mustang and my Vette. The difference in the size, weight, height of the vehicle gives them vastly different feels. If she doesn't get her a three point harness, or maybe some duct tape.

My wife's complaint is that the seat is on the floorboard! Any idea how it can be raised a inch or two?

Yeah I get the same complaint about the lack of a handle on the passenger side, a 400hp car should really have one. Luckily the cloth Recaros do a nice job of holding you in place through the twisties.

Coming from a 2008 Mazdaspeed3, my wife and I think the Mustang is straight-up Cadillacish in terms of comfort and absorbing road imperfections. I don't have the track pack.

But she echoes the statement about the passenger seat being too low. She can barely see over the hood, and it's disconcerting when I'm parking in tight confines. Oh, and first thing she noticed during the test drive was lack of oh-**** bar, too.

My brother has a MS3, yeah ride comfort was definitely an afterthought. Great fun to drive though, the torque steer always made it interesting lol

I loved the car, but I had the persistent idle white smoke issue that even the final TSB couldn't fix. Mazda gave me the extended powertrain warranty, but I didn't want to deal with the issue anymore.

But yeah, the suspension isn't what I'd call comfy. I swore my next car would have a more plush ride... I had no idea at the time I'd find it in a Mustang!

Would putting washers under the bracket work to raise the seat?

Mine had the same problem. We decided to order the car so we could get the power booster seat. Maybe you could find a power seat in a salvage yard. I wonder if the seat frames in the '05 - 12 are the same. May give you some more years to look at for a frame.

I ask the same thing of a friend who owns a body shop before we bought. He recommended against it because it could affect the safety aspect of the seat. It would shorten the distance the seat bolt goes into the anchor point. Made sense to me.

The sitting on the Floor boards is why the 13 has the Comfort package, the power right seat, oh and the Electronics package, so she has her own temperature control also

Lol that's basically the number 1 reason I got the EP, since we got the Recaros - if we didn't get the Recaros, we would've gotten the Comfort Package for her to have heated seats. I might try to retrofit a power rack and heating element into her seat lol

I won't lie. That heated seat will make the lady happy. First thing my lady did was look for the switch the day we brought the car home.

When I was ordering it, we discussed it and she said she was okay without (since we don't have them in any of our cars now) so we agreed on the Electronics Package as a whole deal, which will still give her dual zone climate control
