Got my first mustang when I was 16. It was a beat up '81 4 banger that needed tons of work. It was the perfect car for me back then, as I learned alot working on that thing. Everything from body work, to an engine rebuild.
26 now, and waiting patiently for the 2011. Should have a little more get up and go compared to the 81

My 5th Mustang, if you count Fox body Mercury Capris. I am 35.
Past Mustangs and Capris:
1981 Mercury Capri, 2.3L SOHC 4-cyl, 2bbl, 4-speed manual, black w/ silver stripes. Modified with larger Holley 2bbl carb, Offenhauser intake, performance cam, long-tube headers -- made it sound better, but it was still slow lol
1984 Mercury Capri, 3.8L OHV V6, CFI, 3-speed automatic, primer grey
1986 Mercury Capri, 5.0L OHV V8, EFI, 5-speed manual, red/grey two-tone (grey on the bottom)
1999 Ford Mustang Cobra, 4.6L DOHC V8, EFI, 5-speed manual, black
2011 Ford Mustang GT, 5.0L DOHC V8, EFI, 6-speed manual, kona blue

Geeze, I must be the senior member here at 69. My first car was a ford, but long before Mustang....1952 Ford in '56.
A number of Stangs, though:
67 fastback
67 vert
70 Grande
71 vert
Switched to T-Birds for a buncha years, until 2003 when I bought a new GT vert.
And when I met my future wife-to-be, she had a brand new '70 Mach 1, 351 Cleveland, Hurst shifter, so technically I was also part owner of that Stang after we were married.
