-i don't like the GT500 non grill...looks unfinished
-i like the new tail light on the GT but seeing with the white 2012 im now torn if the 2013 backend doesn't look worse...
im gonna take a killing for this comment (but here goes) dare i say with all the plastic (front and rear) and hood grill vent ect it's looking kinda ricey.

I think the "non grill" in the GT500 will take a bit of getting used to, but it kinda reminds me of the Shelby Cobras with their open mouths.
As for the tail lights......I think if they were lit, they'd look a whole lot better than the '12s....but in those dark photos, I know what you mean.
As for ricey?

The new V6 / GT front end is growing on me, but I'm not a fan of the painted rockers. I like the GT/CS / Boss rear end, but I'm not particularly fond of the "regular" V6 / GT rear fascia. I will admit these cars look much better in person, albeit a lot bigger in stature than the outgoing 2010-12 model due to all the extra paint.

I think a simple mod would be to swap the painted rockers for the '10-12 ones. They should be inexpensive compared to their painted counterparts.
In fact, looking them on fordparts.com, they are $102.47 each.

Yeah, but then you'd have to paint a significant portion of the lower rear fascia which may or may not look good.
