I got my vin after four weeks. Desha told me build date of 6/13 and a delivery date of 6/25. The window sticker is not available yet. Hopefully next week.

 

Congrats! Your new MCA edition will be very similar to my wife's 2011, grabber blue and all. Only we didn't order the rear view camera because my wife wanted me to install a pedestal spoiler.

Well I can't take full credit for the color or setup. My neice picked out the color and stripes. The car will be hers when she truns sixteen. So I let her Pick the color. Unfortunately my mother and sister almost talked he out of the color, but she got what she wanted in the first place. Does hurt that I love the color too. Just need to get the window sticker and get it built. I made the same arrangement with her older sister. She will get the tungsten 06 I own. This is all dependant on them getting good grades and staying out of trouble.

 

Hey how did you do your renderings?

 

I used the Build and price site to configure the car first as a MCA edition and copied the picture. Since you cannot add the stripes to that trim I then configured the car with the stripes and save the pic. Once I had them I went into photo shop and cut the stripes out and pasted them on the MCA pic. I even cut the pony off of a pony edition and added it to the fender. It is not that hard just takes a little patience to get everything lined up.

 

Again, great choice in color and options. What a terrific uncle you are, and great incentive to get good grades! We did similar with my son who now has my wife's old torch red 2006 stang, only he didn't get to pick it out when we purchased it new. Below is my son's 2006 and the wife's 2011. Yep that is pretty close. Only difference is the Electronics Package and Rear view camera. That is a good loking car you wife has. I am glad that my niece didn't listen to her mom and grandma and go with red candy. We almost got a yellow blaze, but she decided on her original choice. Although sterling grey would not have been a bad choice, but at the time we didn't know it was comming back. When I placed my order the dealer did a search and there was not a simmilarly speced car avalabe in the 18 dealers in the area.

 

Well It finally arrived today after spending 4 days in Atlanta at the rail yard. Here are some prelimary pics. Will have more after the stripes are installed. I got to sit in it today, but didn't get to drive it. It hadn't even been through its delivery check. Thursday will not get here fast enough.
