ordered tires yesterday.

I wasn’t planning on it but this is a discontinued size (275/40-19) that replaces the factory size PERFECT for overall diameter.

Tire rack had three left and they were all in different warehouses (Indy, Louisiana, Nevada) so I called around and found that discount had two in Texas. So now they are on the way to me

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 = WIN.
I paid (hope you’re sitting) $163+shipping PER TIRE!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the exact same tire. Real good performer. Worked real well on the twisties in Germany. Germans don't like straight roads...

That's sure a wide tread! It should help you hook up pretty good.

I was considering tradeing in the stock tires wheels for some American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, and BFG tires with a wide tread like that in the back, but I just went with the 19 inch painted nickel luster wheels since that would the less expensive way to go......

I had a couple of those on my new wheels, off an 03 Cobra. They ARE wide. The 245s I had looked like 275s. They tend to track pretty bad though, following the grooves in the road. Really grippy on smooth roads though!

Wow! So soon? Maybe you'll be the first one with a 2011 Mustang?

Congrats!

Congrats on the VIN #. I ordered mine on Jan 27. So they are starting to pull orders now?
Shouldn't be long till I get mine, (I hope).

I live 900 miles away and I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I would love to do that, but first I need a freaking allocation for my car so it can even be scheduled. wish I knew some insiders at Ford like I do at GM.

If my car ever gets allocated I may drive down to the plant just to see if I can find it in the parking lot from the road. They must have people do that all the time that are from Michigan?
