Question Opinions before installing all my parts :)

Hey everyone its been a while since I posted here...

I been finally able to catch up to all the new threads and posts, and got to admit you guys/gals have been doing some nice stuff with your rides! Keep up the good work!

Anyhow its my time to get under the car and start wrenching... I picked up Roush Axle Backs ( with the help of this forum ) it was between them and GT500's I am glad I went with ones from ROUSH ( wow ) head turner no matter where..!! Love it!

Now here comes the fun stuff... I do have some questions too... so here it goes - I picked up SR Lowering Springs, SR Shifter Bracket, SR Adjustable Panhardbar ( is this really needed? ) GT500 strut mounts, SCT Tuner ( still debating which tune i will go with - probably bamma ) roush side & rear spliters, and roush front spoiler.

My car will be a inspired as a 69 Fastback with the Gulf color scheme. Before i get there and before i mount all this, should i just skip the GT500's, Springs, Panhard bar and just get Coil Overs?

I want my car for the street, show, once in a while autocross/track days...

Any ideas, thoughts, comments, advice would be appreciated. Also if anyone has any HOW to's or DIY on some of these parts please share!

From there I Plan on doing some more bolt on's, eventually procharger/intercooler etc...

Thank you all,

Cheers!

~Aleks

If I had the cash I would go with the coil overs because of the adjust-ability. The adjustable panhard bar might not be needed but seeing on how you have it already use it. It is stronger than the stock piece and probably has a little less flex. You will benefit from getting some struts and shocks to go with the springs you picked up. As far as tunes go I hear nothing but good things about the Steeda tunes, but there are several other great tuners out there.

I should add that if your going with a tune you should get an intake to go with that tune.

Install the Panhard bar with 3/4 of a tank of gas in your car. Search YouTube. There are plenty of how-to videos on this topic on there for Mustangs.

@ Glenn - Thanks buddy, I was thinking the same as far as Coil Overs and that is why I have not put anything on yet!

How is steeda? I heard good news about bama.

@Steve - Glad to hear from you buddy, are you still in Germany? And yes just having some issues with the site and my mac OS.

Update: Guess no issues anymore must of been something with Youtube and now I am able to find a couple of how to videos.

I always adjust the panhard bar with a 1/2 tank of gas. But I know fuel is different in Germany so it may be 3/4 tank there is the same as a 1/2 tank here HA.
I have never heard one complaint about Steeda.
