Since we've gotten the Mustang, my fiancee has gotten two speeding tickets.

I have gotten four no front plate displayed tickets while parked in downtown DC.

You got them while you were parked??? WTF does it matter if a car is legal or not, if it's just parked...

It matters if it's parked on a public road. Not if it's in a parking lot i.e. private.

8 years of driving Mustangs and no tickets in one yet...but I did get a ticket when I was trying my friends Corolla while my 95 was having the engine replaced. Yes, a Corolla . Here is my man card.

Not sure i follow, The ticket was written off by a police officer, its a fix it ticket in michigan. For all they know i could have got my windows re-tinted. You can get that ticket as many times as you want in Michigan. The guy owed me one. Next time i wont be so lucky.

Also the state cop that wrote the ticket butchered the ticket. My car model was 2011 Ford Black.

Fix it ticket is handled if you fix the issue. Have it signed off by any officer and mail the ticket in, which i did.

I've gotten three on my 2000 for being parked with no front tag. Not bad considering she's 13 years old.

Don't feel bad. My record is a ticket for doing 105mph down LBJ Freeway in Dallas............. in a Honda Civic.

I thought about fighting that ticket and seeing if the prosecution could convince 12 people that a bone stock Civic could actually do 105.

Well I have gotten a few+ but they have all been warnings, including one for going 71 in a 55 at 2:30AM. He talked about the car and said he was looking for drunks and gave me the warning. Go figure.

Yeah, you never know. I got a written warning for 110 in a 45 (was actually over 165). I never could figure out what the cops could have been thinking. Best I can figure was a combination of couldn't prove in court because of losing sight and not having a plate and worried about getting ribbed by the other cops for the perp not even knowing they were chasing (I was stopped beside the road eating an apple when they finally arrived).

I got pulled over a few days ago by a dyslexic cop who said I was going 76 when I was really going 67. He might have just given me a warning because when he told me he clocked me at 76, my reply was "Seventy six?!"

ouch, a corrupt police force is bad, very bad news.

I worked on a project in south of the equator country that has a significant amount of corruption. Very bad, if the US police can do and get away with that your in very bad trouble. the souls of men are sold cheap
