Reading all the threads about "Brembo this--GT/CS that" I figured it could be fun to stir the pot!

I think we know what has my vote

Loved the CS front end but not the lack of brembos, so I opted for a brembo car and just put a CS chin on

Gotta love my brembo car, 23000 miles and the brakes are still flawless

I like the looks of the GT/CS and the performance of the BBP. I chose the BBP but I will be putting the GT/CS front fascia on soon.

It is really funny to compare the two anyway.....two totally different packages in type and function.

I like the CS but don't like the seats or the fact that it doesn't have the 5.0 badging.

So given the options, Brembo.

Really what I'd like to see is a V8 MCA edition. That would rock my world.

I have the CS, would like the BBP but IMO it is and looks absolutely RIDICULOUS with big front brembos and factory base rear tiny brakes (along with the Non brembo cars). That's what I want to do to mine get bigger rear rotors, even if it's just for looks.

If its was all 4 I would definitely have gotten it.

the GT/CS comes with (imho) ugly wheels and ugly front grille.
therefore the brembo pkg is better in my book .. plus u got some good looking brakes behind your front wheels

I love performance more than looks - but there's no reason you can't have both!

I really like the look of the cs but prefer the base car with brembos. I felt like it would be cheaper to make the front end more aggressive than to add aftermarket brembos later down the line.

Hmm.. I have a cs but seeing as though I wanted an auto the brembo wasn't in the cards for me. At first I didn't care for the cs rims but I bought a black car and the wheels have grown on me. I wish the rims were either staggered or just a bit wider on both packages but overall the cs has the better front end and the brembo the nicer wheel/brake package. Cs interior is nicer as well but again that's a matter of opinion.

The GT/CS is faaaar Superior in my opinion....
Reason:
You get so much more with the CS that you doi't get with the BBP.
It's easier to add the Brembo brakes post purchase....AND the GT500 Brembo kit looks far better (Shiny Gloss vs dull grey caiper)
OK, the BBP might have some suspension differences as well.....but most ppl will change that anyhow!

Its darn near impossible to get the GT/CS features post sale (CF Seats & Dash) Best looking rear faux cap IMHO.

I personally prefer a stripped down performance car myself and that's why I chose the BBP. I like the CS lower valance with the Boss splitter and may go that route in the near future.
As far as which is better at what, looks or performance ? Who gives a Crap.
I purchased the Package that best suited my needs and desires, and I don't think it's any better or worse then the next guys Mustang.
It looks Good sitting still or blasting down the highway and that's the bottom line.

I went with the GT/CS simply because it was threre, and I liked the '07 I previously had. And, 99% of my driving is Interstate, and no track time. As for the wheels and grill, well I like the grill and the wheels will grow on you. I was walking toward the car in the Lowe's parking lot one day...I park out in left field, and I thought those wheels really do look pretty good. But wheels are an easy fix, if you don't like them. I just put the SVT's with Blizzaks on for the winter. I like the blacked out center with the Red Candy...
