Official Washington State 5.0 Owners Thread

I've started this on one of the other Mustang sites but we need to gather people from here to. This can serve a group to talk about their cars, favorite places to drive in the Washington state, organize rides, etc.

Say hello and tell us what you've got or are getting and where you're from!

Cheers!

Emil, did you order your '11 GT from Bowen Scarff Ford Lincoln Mercury in Kent, WA? I hear they're very nice people!

Hi there, I live up by Bellingham and have an 05 GT. Will be in the market for a 2011/2012 5.0 later this year!

Stop in and see the nice folks at Bowen Scarff in Kent when you're ready. One of your neighbors there in Bellingham bought his supercharged, highland green 2009 Bullitt Mustang from us last year (his user name here is Smitty). There are lots of other members here on TMS that have purchased their Mustangs from us so you can ask around for feedback on whether it's worth the 2 hour drive to see us.

I have my 5.0 on order, performance white, black stripes, 3.73, premium. I'm around the Tacoma area, and unfortunately isn't expected until mid September

I'd be happy to order the same car for you. Our next allocation for this week should be delivered to us in mid to late August, so it would likely arrive a few weeks earlier than your current order. We've dropped our special order prices to just $99 over the factory invoice total and you keep all the rebates you qualify for upon delivery.

Or, we just happen to have a performance white '11 Premium GT here today with 3.73's and Brembos on sale for a couple grand below MSRP - click here for details...

I won't be back in the states until late August anyway. It would be nice however to have the car waiting instead of having to go a week or two without anything. My current build is the 11' GT premium, performance white with the over the top black stripes, black interior. 3.73, security package, with the pre-installed coupe accessory package (side scoops, 1/4 louvers, decklid trim panel).

With my discounts and everything it came out to $33,683.50 with delivery expected on 10 Sept. If you can do better then that, then i'll happily come on over to your side.

Hi, David, I just entered the specs you listed into Ford's system to get a price....

$35,680 = MSRP.
$33,376 = Factory Invoice Total.
$33,475 = Our Sale Price to Special Order this car.

Any rebates you qualify for upon delivery will lower your price. For example, there is currently a $500 factory rebate that would lower your price to $32,975. You mentioned you're out of the country? If you're active military, there's another $500 rebate so the price would drop further to $32,475.

This week's orders have to be in Wednesday (tomorrow) by noon. Mustangs I order this week should arrive here in mid to late August. I'd be happy to put the order in for you. You don't pay for (or finance) the car until you take delivery of it, so it costs you zero to place the order. And, if the car you already ordered elsewhere shows up first and you buy from the other dealer, then I'll just put the one I order out on our lot for sale to the public if you don't need it.

Thanks for responding Brian. Looking over my current invoice the 33,683.50 also covers:

DRFT: U.S. (Domestic) inland freight charge - $850.00
OPFD: Owner's Protection - 7year/75,000 mile major component coverage - $1205.00
PREP: Delivery Point Processing Service - Single Unit Priority Handling - $250.00

Does the price you quote contain all of that as well? If so, and the price is still below what i'm paying currently, is there anyway you could e-mail me an invoice? Demokracyx at gmail dot com.

Thanks again for taking the time to talk with me about this.

Edit: Yes, I am military. I'd also like to add that if it does include all of that. and your tentative quote $32,475 holds up I would not only go with you guys, but i'd also add the Brembo brake option to my build as well since I was going to spend about that much anyway.

Hi, David,

The $850 delivery charge is included in my quote to you. Not sure what that $1205 owner protection is that you listed above? Some sort of 3rd party warranty? If you want an extended warranty, don't buy 3rd party stuff - get a genuine Ford warranty. I did not include any extended warranties in my quote. Not sure what the $250 prep fee is that you listed either - that's not something we charge. So, take the $1205 owner protection off your current order's price, and my price is about the same. Ditch the $250 prep fee and we're that much cheaper than the other dealer you ordered from. So, not really a big difference in price. I can likely get you your GT a few weeks earlier than your current order, but that's really about the only advantage I can offer from the looks of it. It's your call.

Brian,

I would say a price drop of roughly 1,200 bucks is a pretty good price difference, and am interested in your offer. Is there any way you could do an official invoice listing out what I currently have ordered, and how much you would charge? If it isn't to much trouble, I would also like a second invoice with what I have currently with the Brembo package added on.

You have me very interested, I'd just like to see it on some paper

OK guys, sorry to thread jack. I'm in the Bellevue/Newcastle area and would love to meet up with some 2011 5.0 owners. I bought my car from Brian. I love it so far... just don't know what to do with it first. Would love to compare notes with local people before diving into the suspension, etc.

Attached some pics for your enjoyment!

David, I'm sending you this info via email in just a moment. Too hard to get it to line up legibly in these forums.

Bryce, we really appreciate your business!!! So, just 41 days from the day I ordered you GT until delivery? Wow, I didn't realize it was that quick, but you're right!

I really liked the idea of not having to plays games with the price..... also, I did my best to think of other things during those long 41 days. Is this 41 days indicative of what any order now would be also? Do you have some sort of set retail order limit for the dealership? How does that work?
