OE Pirelli's
For you guys running the OE 18" tires who plan to keep them on the car, good news, Tirerack has the P-Zero Nero's pretty cheap, $122 each.

I saw that. But it should be a while before any of us need to replace them.
Did you also notice the availibility???
"Fewer than 2" doesn't really do any good for most.

If I got the Brembo Pkg, I'd be replacing the tires with General Exclaim UHPs in a similar size. Can't beat them for the price. Maybe the Hankook V12 Ventus too.

There will be absolutely no comparison in performance between the Brembo package Pirelli P-Zero tires and the General Exclaim UHP's. Two totally different classes of tires. About the only thing they have in common is that both will suck in the snow and ice. The General UHP's are a decent street tire for cruising around, the Pirelli P-Zeros have significantly more dry grip.

Which P-Zeros? The all-season P-Zero Neros that came stock on normal GT's or the Brembo Pirelli P-Zero Max-Performance summer only performance tires? Huge difference between the two. There are lots of different tires in the Pirelli P-Zero line, I've owned three different versions of the P-Zero to date.

The UHPs are definitely > than the P-Zero Neros, but I won't contest them against the Brembo Pkg tires. However, at less than half the price, they would do for a daily driver...And they were pretty good in the rain. I don't have to deal with snow/ice so I can't comment on that.

This is the first car i have ever bought in my life that came with a good performing tire from the factory. From all the positive reviews i have read about the Pirelli's, i'll buy some new ones when these wear out.

yeah after looking at the prices of the 255/40-19s i think my first replacement set will be the Hankook V12. i have heard from some friends that they are good tires for the money and i dont think my stock tires are going to last long with the problem i seem to have lately (very heavy right foot syndrome).

It doesn't look like the UHP's come in 255/40ZR19 size just 255/35ZR19 so it looks like the Hankooks might be the way to go. I've had the UHP's on my old daily driver Mustang GT(245/45ZR17) for 5 years now and there is still plenty of tread left! They were $86 each when I bought them on Tire Rack.

I remember when the UHPs were $76/tire at tirerack for that size! I thought they came in a 275/35/19, but maybe I'm mistaken. I haven't looked in a while...
