Why do you have to get a GT in order to get the 3.73s and Brembo brake package? I don't see the reasoning for not being able to order them on a base V8.

What? V8 = GT. Base V8 = Base GT.

Yep... been that way since 1994.

A "Mustang" is a V6

A "Mustang GT" is a V8

I know, I was telling the OP.

But he has 520 posts so unless he worded his question wrong, I don't see how he would not know that already.

Sorry, guys.... I punched in an auto trans instead of a 6-speed when I was building the car. And yeah, it was late.

The Site is flaky anyway. If you but in GT Base and select the Accessory 19x8.5 Dark Foundry Black GT/CS Style Wheels for $392 it adds the Brembo Package and says its required for the Wheels.

The Order Guide is better than the Site but in the end it comes down to what the order system will accept.
